Nelson & District Credit Union is launching eStatements in May 2010 and we would like to take this opportunity to familiarize members with this exciting new option.
If you are already a MemberDirect Internet Banking user, starting May 2010, you will have access to a secure and environmentally friendly version of your statement. By choosing to go paper-less, you can help minimize the energy and waste associated with mailing your paper statement each month.
All members will have access to eStatements but in order to view them, they must be a registered user of MemberDirect Internet Banking.

What are eStatements?

When can I see my first eStatement?
When eStatements are released in the first week of May 2010 you will login to MemberDirect Internet Banking and click on the eStatement tab on your Account Summary page.

NDCU has received many member enquiries about eStatements and we think you will find them faster, safer, convenient and more environmentally friendly than your existing mailed paper statements.

Will it be safe to view my eStatements online?
NDCU's MemberDirect Internet Banking website is secured to industry standards. There will no longer be the opportunity for thieves to steal your paper-statement from your mailbox therefore reducing the risk of identity theft and mail-related fraud.
Is access easy?
Your eStatement will be available through NDCU’s MemberDirect Internet Banking site in reliable Adobe PDF format by logging in to MemberDirect Internet Banking and click on the eStatement tab on your Account Summary page. For added convenience you can choose to save your eStatement to your home computer or print it if you need to.
Can I access older statements?
Starting May 2010, NDCU will begin archiving your eStatements so you'll have online access to your archived eStatements for up to 7-years.
Is it easy going Green?
Opt-Out of receiving paper statements today. We currently mail close to 200,000 sheets of paper, related to statements, each year. Moving to eStatements reduces the amount of energy and paper used to get those mailed paper statements to you. Together we can reduce our impact on the environment.
What does it cost me?
eStatements will be offered as a free service for members with access to MemberDirect Internet Banking.
